Znic-Aluminum-Magnesium Alloy Stell Coil

Zinc aluminum-magnesium coated steel is a new type of corrosion-resistant coated steel sheet consisting mainly of zinc, about 6% aluminum, 3% magnesium and trace amounts of silicon.

Z-A-M is a highly corrosion-resistant hot-dip Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium alloy coated steel sheet. Due to the effects of magnesium and aluminum, Z-A-M has excellent corrosion resistance, scratch resistance and formability.

1. Am Zinc Aluminum Magnesium Coil simple description Zn-Al-Mg is a new type of highly corrosion-resistant coated steel sheet with a coating composition consisting of zinc as the main substrate in combination with aluminum (about 11%), magnesium (about 3%) and a trace amount of silicon.Adding Al, Mg, and Si to it, the composite effect of these added elements improves corrosion resistance. 2.Mechanism of corrosion:  Al and Mg in the coating layer of Z-A-M combine to form a fine, tightly adhered zinc-based protective film on its coating surface as time passes. This protective film suppresses corrosion of the Z-A-M coating.Cut edges covered with thin zinc based protective film containing Mg.
