Product Description

PPGI & PPGL (prepainted galvanized steel & prepainted galvalume steel) also known as pre-coated steel or color coated steel coil, It is a product made of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, hot-dip galvalume steel sheet, electro galvanized steel sheet, etc. After surface pretreatment, one or several layers of organic coating are applied on the surface, and then baked and solidified.

 Corrugated galvanized roofing has the outstanding advantages of low cost, light weight, large span, wide space, no leakage, maintenance-free, and fast construction speed. Especially in the aspect of roof anti-leakage, it is a new type of technology in the domestic construction industry. It is suitable for roof structures of various workshops, are houses, aisles, parking lots, small and medium-sized sports venues, and bazaars.

Characteristics: Weatherproof; heating insulation; fireproof; anti-rust; sound insulation; long life span: more than 20 years.
Corrosion Resistance: the aluzinc coating surface protects the base steel not only by providing a barrier to corrosion elements but also by the sacrificial nature of the coating. PPGI & PPGL often remains in working order with little maintenance for 20 years or more.

How to Decide PPGI Coil?
1. Coating Types
When choosing a primer, you need to consider the adhesion of the primer; while for top coating, corrosion resistance and color retention will be more important.
There are four commonly used coatings, including polyester (PE), silicone modified polyester (SMP), high durability polyester (HDP), and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). PE coating is of good adhesion and it is widely used as a primer. 
While HDP and PVDF because of their excellent durability and color retention.
They have the best long life span: more than 30 years.

2. Thickness of Coating At LIYING Steel, the painting thickness is usually 18-22um. The max top paint can be 55um. Generally, the thick the coating, the better the durability.  You can choose according to the use environment. For example, I need this material: Dx51d+AZ150 PVDF/HDP 30um, it may used in the sea,or chemiercal factory. If you have special requirements, please let us know. 3.The base metal steel The base metal steel commonly used consist of: Galvanized steel, Galvalume steel and Al-Zn-Mg steel.Generally, The more zinc content, the longer the service life.and the zinc coating ranges from AZ30g-AZ275g.    p

High-Medium-Low end Pre-painted Steel Coil

and the actual factory standard zinc coating is 25-80g.IT maybe not more than 60g or even...

Medium: PPGL
Mid-end color-coated substrate, the zinc coating range is 100-250g,
The life span often remains in working order with little maintenance for 15-25 years or more.

HIGH:Al-Zn-Mg steel
ZAM is the lastest material which can replace the galvanized steel and galvalumed steel.
HIGH: PPGL
The substrate adopts 55% Al-Zn plating, and the zinc coating ranges from AZ100-AZ275.
